The article’s focus is the aesthetics of this progressive suburb, of which AB contributed the supply and installation of approximately 4,600 lineal feet of sheet pile canal walls to replace existing deteriorated wood walls.
The two canals, Fern and Venetian, are environmentally sensitive links in the pristine Winter Park Chain of Lakes. The work included clearing and grubbing, demolition, sheet pile installation, wooden boat bumper installation and site restoration. The walls are mostly cantilever type, 13-18′ deep, with some tie back situations.
