May 2009 -- The Tampa District of American Bridge (AB) has been awarded a contract of $ 15,186,000 to perform the marine construction part of the Nassau Harbor Project in Nassau, Bahamas. AB's scope includes the installation of approximately 4,300 wall feet of sheetpile bulkhead with tieback system and concrete encapsulation, which will form a containment for dredged materials and create an expansion to the existing Arawak Cay Port facility. The scope also includes construction of three large mooring dolphins, earthworks and scour protection.
