This contract involved the replacement of the bridge's 596 suspender rope assemblies at 298 panel points. The existing riveted connection assemblies were removed and replaced with new bolted ones. All cable band bolts were removed, reconditioned, and replaced. The collars were reconditioned and the collar liners were replaced. |
